I really have to work on tuning out everything. Little noises distract me so much. My biggest pet peeve is when people chew gum like cows, and you can hear it and their mouths are wide open. I can always hear it, from across a room and it just skeeves me out! I have to learn to tune things like that out!

I really need to practice tuning out and tuning in to me. It's hard and definitely takes practice.

Biggest pet peeve??? Tardiness would be up at the top of the list. It drives me crazy to make plans for a particular time and then I end up waiting for someone. Plan ahead!

in yoga i too have many moments where i feel so distracted but then i try to concentrate on my breath, counting my inhale and exhales until i let go of all other thoughts. its really something we need to practice all the time to really make it work

that's one of my all-time favorite movie scenes! that sounds like it'd be a hard distraction to ignore. i'm the same way; very bad at blocking out distractions. in college, i did HORRIBLY with people who talked/smacked gum in the library.
