Give It Away, Give it Away, Give It Away Now…

Yes, I’m giving it away.  If you couldn’t already tell from my blog post title, I’m giving it away now.  But just what am I giving away, you ask?  Well, it’s not that.  After all, I am married! Hehehe!  I know, I have quite the somewhat of a twisted mind.  Anyhooooo, let’s get back to biznis, shall we? I’m not sure if many of you know, but in addition to being ‘Healthy Chow’, I’m also the ‘nik’ in ‘nikandmoy.com‘.  nik + moy is the handmade jewelry design business my sister and I started a few years ago.  I love designing and making jewelry, and more importantly, I love seeing my designs on people and making them happy.  That said, I’ve decided to hold a little giveaway on my blog and give away a piece of nik + moy jewelry.  Sound good?

These little stunners are made of a light brown smokey topaz stone that’s hand-wrapped in gold-plated wire, which softly suspends from a gold-filled earring hook.  The multi-tiered gold-plated chain that hang from the stone are lightweight and seem to almost dance in the wind.  They’re perfect for this holiday season, as they can be worn with your favorite party dress (or with your ‘party cardi’, as Old Navy calls them) and can jazz up any ordinary outfit.  Or, pair these babies with a trendy over-sized blazer, leggings and ankle booties and you’re ready for date night.  Either way, you’re looking fabulous!

So wanna know how you can win? Here’s what to do:

  • Leave a comment on this blog post saying what your ‘go-to’ holiday outfit is or will be this season.  You’ll then be entered to win the earrings! Pretty easy, huh?

Looking for more ways to win?  If you’re looking for ways to have multiple entries into this contest, well, look no further…

  • For another entry into this contest, follow me on Twitter (@NicoleChow) and tweet the following:
    • Need some new fabulous jewelry? Check out the earrings @NicoleChow is giving away here: http://tinyurl.com/y9d9xzq
    • Then, come back to this blog post and leave me another comment informing me of your tweet.
  • For another entry into this contest, update your status on Facebook, letting your network know how they can win a pair of free earrings.  Then, come back to this blog post and leave another comment letting me know.
  • And the last way to get another entry into this contest, link back to this giveaway on your blog, and then leave me another comment on this blog post to let me know.

There you have it! This gives you FOUR chances to win these beautiful earrings! And if these earrings aren’t for you, then I’m sure they’d make a great gift for a friend or family member (you can start your shopping early-ish!).  The contest ends at 6pm ET on Friday, November 27th (the day after Thanksgiving).  I’ll be picking a winner via Random Integer Generator and the winner will be announced on Monday, November 30th.

Good luck to everybody!  And if this contest goes well and you all seem to be interested in nik + moy jewelry, then I’ll be sure to hold more giveaways.  After all, I am pretty tight with both of the designers ;) .

If you don’t want to win these earrings, I’d still love to have your comments (just let me know you want to be excluded from the contest).  Here are the questions of the day:

Do you have a hobby?  Are you a crafty person?  If there was one thing you could do (craft-wise), what would it be?

Namasté,
Nicole

those are so pretty! I love a simple, rich colored sweater and a pair of nice dark jeans. We don’t have many fancy holiday parties, so as long as I’m comfortable, it’s good.

  2. VeggieGirl says:

Go-to holiday outfit = black tights, black heels, and a sparkly red top :)

I’m pretty crafty, if I do say so myself – I sew, crochet, make jewelry, make pottery..

  3. P-p-p-erty!!! My go-to outfit is jeans and a red cable knit turtleneck sweater from J Crew. Nothing fancy schmancy but the color makes it oh so holiday!

  4. junghwa says:

definitely my black blazer with red warm fuzzy scarf!

  5. Lauren says:

Gorgeous earrings Nicole! You certainly are multi-talented.

My typical go-to holiday outfit is a pair of dark jeans, and either boots & a soft sweater (for casual get-togethers) or heels & a nice top (for fancier occasions).

  6. Kerstin says:

How cool you make jewerly – you’ve got some very cute stuff on your website! Another sweater and jeans girl here, with big boots too of course :)

  7. Lauren says:

These earings are stunning! I would love to add these to my Holiday go-to outfit, which this year, I imagine will be black pants, a white sweater, and a fancy fun scarf. And these be-dazzled earings of course!

My go to holiday outfit is a pair of black pants and white turtleneck sweater. Simple, I know, but I like simple. That way I can jazz it up with some accessories. Maybe some great earrings this year, perhaps!

I bought a great sequined top that screams holidays to me. I’m going to pair it with a carigan to tone it down a bit.

  15. DeniseLee says:

These FABULOUS earings will go perfectly with my Holiday go-to outfit: a slinky black Ralph Lauren dress made of silk jersey. Its a great dress because it does dress-up, casual, church service, office and holiday party depending on the type and color of the accessories I use that day! Your talent is AWESOME!

  16. I love these earrings, and they would go well with my Chocolate dress I’m wearing to a Christmas wedding!

  17. catiedidit says:

  18. Sammi says:

Those are some lovely earrings! Found your blog through caitlin and I’m so glad I did! My go to outfit this year is going to be the gray sweater dress that I got from Kohl’s last month. I’ve never had a winter dress before so I’m super excited about it! Now I just need to make the weather up here in virginia realize it’s supposed to be cold!

p.s.- i love the apple & chopsticks in your header! so cute!

Beautiful earrings. A little black dress, with the right coat, is always a classic!

  27. Theresa says:

My outfit this year is probably going to be dark jeans or black pants, black ankle boots, and a ruffley brown top with a high neck collar. I will wear a leopard necklace, earrings, and bracelet.

  28. YO QUIERO ESOS PENDIENTES!

I didn’t know you had such talent, chica!

I am always muy casual on the holidays–so leggings, boots and a cute long sweater are always my go-tos. These babies would make a lovely addition :)

  29. sophia says:

I usually am NOT a girly person…but I have to say I love my jewelry! What can I say? It’s inherent that we draw towards sparkly stuff! ;-)

  30. sophia says:

Which is why I need that jewelry! hahaha!

    Oh, I tweeted! :-)

  31. Tatum says:

I just bought a red and black plaid skirt for the holidays. I cant wait to wear it I have had it since this summer. I’m not sure what color sweater though, I have offwhite, red, and black.

  32. cait says:

I recently bought a cream dress that is tight to the waist and flares out at the hips (a la the 50’s) and a black satin shrug with accentuated shoulders to go with it. I really enjoy a retro holiday look. those earrings would look fantastic with my planned outfit!

  42. Carrie H says:

Those are beautiful! My go-to outfits are a little blue sweater dress and a black wrap dress. Kinda basic, but fun and cute!

  43. Emily says:

What gorg(eous) earrings!!! My go-to dressing outfit is of course, the LBD. But if it’s more casual, dark jeans, a hot pair of heels and a cute top…I’m loving ruffles this year!
