Homemade Vanilla Hazelnut Milk Latte!


For the first time in my life I enjoy coffee. I’ve never been I coffee lover but when a close friend gave me this recipe I immediately fell in love with it. I consume it daily on those mini breaks I take from work, I recommend it to everyone I meet and I make it for my friends. It is absolutely delicious and definitely worth the effort, I promise. You won’t need any kind of exotic ingredients nor much time to make it.. It just might be the recipe that will restore your faith in coffee. Try it out, you won’t regret it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of soaked hazelnuts
  • 3 ½ cups fresh water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1-2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Cup of ice
  • Coffee or espresso

Instructions:

First thing you need to do is making your hazel nuts softer so you can blend them. One way to do that is to soak them overnight and drain and rinse them in the morning. Once you are done with the procedure, mix them with fresh filtered water, vanilla (my favorite), nutmeg, salt, cinnamon and fresh water and blend them until they become smooth. It will probably take you one minute depending on your blender. Use a large bowl to add the nut milk and the liquid from the blender and mix them up. After that pour the strained hazelnut milk into a 3.2 oz. jar and chill overnight. Pour over iced coffee and top with forth. That’s it you are done. Enjoy!
