Baked Asparagus with Delicious Butter Sauce!


Well, this is one hell of a nutritious meal and I love it. It is a side dish, of course, but it is equally important as the main dish. Asparagus is fresh and green vegetable, very crisp and sweet. I know autumn is not the time when you will find asparagus in abundance but still there are some grocery stores where you can find it fresh.

As you may know, asparagus is versatile vegetable and you can cook it in many ways. Mixing it with different flavors is something that this amazing vegetable allows.

Today I am going to share with you asparagus recipe with baking. I love it because is healthy and the butter sauce gives that super flavor at the end.

This is frequently made at my house and is always demanded from my friends. It is absolutely easy to make! Defiantly my recommendation to everyone!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch fresh trimmed asparagus
  • Cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Start preheating the oven to 400 degrees F. Get a baking sheet, and arrange the asparagus on it. Sprinkle salt, pepper and spray a cooking spray. Bake for 12 minutes in the oven until they become tender.
  2. Now, prepare the butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat. After the butter is melted, remove it from the heat and add, stir a soy sauce and balsamic vinegar. Pour the mixture over the baked asparagus and serve.
