Low – Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins!

These blueberry muffins are Holiday miracle. You can serve them as dessert, with a cup of coffee or with tea. They are absolutely delicious and will warm your heart. You don’t have to be a master in the kitchen to make them, they are very easy to make and taste amazing.



I make them more frequently than any dessert out there and i don’t have any regrets in doing so. Low on calories and absolute healthy snack for those who exercise and want to lead healthier life. I recommend them to everyone.





  • 1 ½ cups wheat bran
  • 1 cup nonfat milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup whole wheat four
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup blueberries


  1. Start with preheating the oven to 350 degrees F (190 degrees C). Get the muffin cups and grease them. Mix together milk and wheat bran and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Get a large bowl, and mix together the egg, brown sugar, applesauce and vanilla. Beat in the bran mixture. Now, pour together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir into bran mixture until just blended. Fold the blueberries. Scoop into muffin cups.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tops spring back when lightly tapped.
